Born and raised in Ventura, Ca. I do not have a long and extensive background in sports. In My younger years I took gymnastics in elementary and then I played a little basketball in junior high although I wish I would have been little more involved in sports now that I am older and look back.  But it is never too late to start your fitness journey!

I was in my 30’s when I started to work out at the globo gym. I would take boot camp classes and loved cycling classes. My husband and I did a Super Spartan race and boy did I not know what we were getting ourselves into. I think I laughed, cussed and cried my way to the end of the finish line but I did it! My gym life was the same routine week after week.  I truly did not find my strength until I started Crossfit in July of 2014. I was hooked! My husband started Crossfit before me and I realized the whole 6 months he tried to get me to go to Crossfit I was missing out. I never saw myself as being competitive until I did my first Festivus competition. When I heard 3.2.1 go the switch was flipped and I was bit by the competitive bug. Since then I have done a handful of competitions and my main goal is to always give 110% however winning is always fun too. I have had a few first place finishes along with some where I did not finish first place and this always reminds me to continue working hard and it will pay off!

I really loved what I did and wanted to take it to the next level so I completed my Level 1 certification in May 2017. I wanted to help others achieve their fitness and find their strength to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. I plan to continue my education in an effort to become the best coach I can be! I have a passion to help others achieve whatever their goals may be which is what drives me every day!

My motto would be it is never too late to start no matter how old you are or if you were never athletic.  I’m in my 40’s now and in the best shape of my life!

Outside of Crossfit I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, camping and snowboarding. My ultimate favorite downtime is on the Colorado River! There is nothing like floating down the river on a hot summer day!
