The Vent training methodology is designed to build the most broad, general, inclusive fitness possible. Our program is comprised of Olympic style weightlifting, powerlifting, kettlebells and basic gymnastics movements - we don’t do machines, and we don’t do gimmicks.

We focus our attention on being extraordinarily effective at coaching our athletes to become intelligent movers, in order to realize their physical potential and achieve their personal goals as quickly and safely as possible. To ensure all of our athletes are provided every opportunity to succeed, we require everyone to get started at The Vent in one of four ways: Intro Classes, Private Coaching, All Levels classes, or by Testing Out.

PRIVATE COACHING: Introduction to CrossFit and beyond...

Are you ready to start doing CrossFit, but can’t attend one of our Intro or All Levels classes? If so, sign up for our Private, Introduction to CrossFit package, which is three hours of one-on-one training with one of our (MWOD Certified) coaches. During these sessions, you will work with your coach to build your general fitness base and gain familiarity with our movements, with the goal to prepare you to join our fast-paced group classes.

Your coach will always program design specifically for you,  your current fitness level and movement competency, and will always/only progress you at the most efficient pace for you. *Please note, if you have pre-exisiting injuries or are significantly deconditioned, additional private coaching sessions may be required before moving into our fast-paced group classes.


Ready to get started with us but not quite sure what you're getting yourself into? Our Intro Class was created for you! This is a FREE class/workout, designed for any NON-MEMBER in our community to get to know our facility, philosophy, and training style. There is NO PREREQUISITE to attend this class, we simply ask that you come dressed/prepared to train, bring an open mind and leave the ego at home.

*Classes will be held 4x/month. Every first and third Wednesday at 7pm, and every second and fourth Saturday at 10am

If you feel confident and comfortable performing basic gymnastics movements (i.e. pull-ups, dips, handstands) powerlifts and Olympic style lifts (i.e. clean and jerk, snatch, deadlift, squat), you can request to test out of the CrossFit-Fundamentals and gain immediate access to our regular GPP and Specialty classes. Call or email us to schedule a time to come in and demonstrate your competence with one of our coaches. We have extremely high standards, so if you are unsure as to whether you are a candidate for testing out, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our Private Coaching or Intro Class.
